Comics and satirical drawings
When he was a little boy, he was always drawing something. It is said that he was born with a pencil in his hand. He made his debut in the press as a 14-year-old elementary school student. Back then he was drawing comics, but soon he started creating satirical and humorous drawings.
The declaration of martial law in Poland (1981) was not a break in creativity for the young Sadurski. In order to forget about the everyday problems of Poles, Sadurski from Karykatury.com – then a student of an art school, drew hundreds of pages with comics and drawings against the communist authorities. Currently, political drawings about General Jaruzelski and martial law can be seen at the permanent exhibition of the European Solidarity Center in Gdansk.
On his 18th birthday, the now cult satirical weekly Szpilki published Sadurski’s first drawing. He soon became the magazine’s most published cartoonist. He was awarded the Silver, and a year later the Golden Pin. These are the awards that were given to the best Polish caricaturists. In the mid-1980s, many well-known newspapers offered Sadurski cooperation, and he supplied the newspapers with a large number of cartoon jokes.
Good Humor and other magazines with jokes
Soon, Sadurski realized his youthful dream: he started publishing a cheerful magazine with jokes and humor. To this day, Dobry Humor (Good Humor) is remembered by many Poles, as well as Super Dowcipy and other magazines that could be purchased monthly at points of sale throughout Poland. The most famous title – Dobry Humor had a circulation of 200,000. Today, this is a gigantic result, compared to the current circulation of well-known newspapers in Poland.
For 21 years, over 770 publications with jokes and satire were published, which were delivered to Poles by the satirist Sadurski. Every month he prepared 5 magazines for printing, including the satirical magazine Your Good Humor. Soon he was invited to events to draw caricatures live. He became an event caricaturist.
The fastest caricaturist
For 10 years, he created over 50,000 cheerful portraits in Poland. He drew at various events and gained a lot of experience. He also began to receive invitations from abroad: Europe, USA, Australia. In 2012, after one of the events, the press from New York wrote that Sadurski is one of the fastest caricaturists in the world.
Today, he is the king of the event caricature, invited every few days to various events, including exclusive weddings. He still travels professionally and his work evokes wide smiles on faces.

The excellent Polish comedy film “I don’t like Monday” directed by Tadeusz Chmielewski was an opportunity to show the most beautiful places in Warsaw from the turn of the 1960s and 1970s. In the film we can see famous places in Warsaw. Among other things, the de Gaulle roundabout, the Emilia furniture pavilion (which no longer exists) and the trams and trolleybuses of the time. Warsaw. Also a statue of Nike. Initially, it stood at Teatralny Square – where the Jablonowski Palace, rebuilt after the war, is now located.
